There is a lot of thought behind every clothing line. The design part of the process is probably the most fun and busy time of your line. Here is how EKL gets started: Design
We can meet with you when it is most convenient for you to begin this process. Our factory is happy to have you as a part of our team.
First you will meet with the designer and talk about all the ideas you have for your line. This meeting will be essential to set the tone of your line. Remember there are 1000s of markets, we want to gather all the information we can for us to guide you to your specific target market.
After the meeting with the designer, you will have a better idea of how many samples you will like to start with. The samples can take from 1 week to 4 weeks depending on the amount of samples and difficulty of your line. We will first make 1 sample 1 size. All the details will be in the first sample. After this design and size is approved then we move to the next sizes. Manufacturing
You’ve passed the design phase, now what? The very first thing we will do is a sample production run. This is not quite the last step but it is perhaps the most important of them all, after fitting the pattern. The garment will undergo the regular process for mass production and then it is given to the client for approval. Minor details can be changed in this process such as label placement, color of threat, different stitching and so on. Once the garment is approved then we move to the last part of the manufacturing stage, which is mass production. Mass production
In this step, your line is being manufactured. There are minimum quantities that have to be met in order to mass-produce a garment. However, depending on the line and the difficulty of the garment, the minimum quantity amount will be set during the design phase.
